What 2020 taught us
As 2020 comes to a close, we asked our team to reflect on lessons learned from 2020. Here are some thoughts they shared:

“2020 has left me feeling even more awe-struck by the creativity of our nonprofit partners and how tirelessly they work to serve their communities. This year has also helped me imagine more flexible and equitable foundation grant processes.” – Madeline, Grant Writer

"I've had the privilege of watching how the nonprofit organizations and people I work with have demonstrated phenomenal resilience, tenacity, and creativity to help their communities in the face of the pandemic - it's been truly inspirational." – Alex, Director of Operations

“2020 taught me to lean on my coworkers for support. My coworkers at ZIM have so much knowledge and expertise and I learned to lean on them and learn from them. I look forward to doing more of this in 2021.”

– Morgan, Grant Writer

From the whole ZIM team, we wish a joyous holiday season. We look forward to working with you in the New Year.
